Pickup In Yardley
is played on Edgewood Road. From Trenton take Route 1 S. into PA to the 2nd full exit, about a mile down Rt 1 (there is one with 2 ramps right at the bridge) and follow signs for Yardley, which will take you off at the first possible right once you've exited. This exit also puts you back on Rt 1 South if you don't move right immediately, so get over quickly.

As you exit you merge onto Spruce which becomes Yardley-Morrisville Rd after 2 quick lights. Follow this to the third light, about 1.5 miles down, and make a left onto Edgewood (it'll say Black Rock to the right, don't let it throw you). Follow that down a hill and up again and you'll pass the elementary school on your right. Take the next right into the parking lot for the pool ... it's past the school and Kid's Kingdom playground, just around the bend in Edgewood Rd. Once in the lot, go right again, uphill and back towards the school. This back lot puts you right at the edge of the fields.

From Ewing take 95 S. over the Scudder's Falls bridge and get right off at the 2nd part of the 1st exit, just after the ramp for New Hope. You'll be headed back under 95 into Yardley. Go straight thu town (1 light) 'til you start to ease uphill and right, just after fire house on the right. You'll see the new round white pedestrian bridge over Main St. which is the train tracks, and the Yardley Station on your right. Turn Right onto Reading Ave. just BEFORE that bridge (Gulf on the left), pass the station and go a few hundred yards until you can turn left under the tracks under a narrow, stone micro-tunnel.

This puts you at a T on Oxford Valley Rd, believe it or not, and you make an easy right up the hill past the new church to the school on the right. We play out back, kind of hidden from view from Edgewood Road and from Oxford Valley. Best parking is to go to up to the 2nd T at Edgewood Road and turn right. Then make your next available right into the parking lot and go right again, uphill and back towards the school. The back lot puts you right at the edge of the fields.

If you miss the turn at Reading and the station, go a mile or so up Main Street to the light at Edgewood and turn right there instead. Then follow directions above once you're past the school.
