Mercer
County Ultimate Disc League 25th Season Disc Design Competition
Rules
- This competition is open to any present or former member of the Mercer County
Ultimate Disc League.
- The purpose of this disc design competition is to celebrate the 25th Season
of the Mercer County Ultimate Disc League, the longest-running league, and to
commemorate our quarter-century as a League by emblazoning a design forever in
plastic.
- This competition will be open and disc designs will be accepted until the deadline of
April 10, 2001 at the Captains Meeting at McManimon's Pub in Chambersburg, NJ.
- Disc designs can be submitted electronically or on paper. Disc designs submitted to webmaster@mcudl.org
in JPEG or GIF format prior to the captains meeting will be posted on the MCUDL
website.
- The designs will be displayed anonymously and the winner will be selected by vote
of the captains at that meeting.
- The primary disc color will be white. The design competition winner will help
specify the selection of the imprinted hotstamp colors and the colors of the
other discs.
- The final size of the Discraft 175g Ultra-Star imprint will be 6 3/4 inches or 16.3
cm, although the entry does not need to be submitted in that exact size. Furthermore, the submitted design may be
subject to modification to comply with the Discraft’s artwork requirements,
found at the Discraft website.
- There is no limit to the number of designs that may be submitted by a player.
- The winner will not receive cash compensation, but will have his or her dues waived
for the 2001 season and will receive five (5) discs.
